Migrated Products

We at Aspose strive to bring you of the best and most useful APIs for developing solutions efficiently. To this end we have introduced many APIs to suit your needs. Sometimes a feature set is so popular it warrants moving it into a standalone product. On the other hand, some features may not have been commercially viable as a standalone product and as a result, we may decide to merge an existing product into an existing product. In either case we offer a clear upgrade path from the original to the destination product.

This page lists all those products which have been migrated (merged or split). Note that for a product that’s merged, the original is no longer sold and are not included in Aspose.Total as a standalone product.

Products merged from 10th July, 2019

• Aspose.EPS & Aspose.XPS for .NET. Allowed .NET applications to work with both XPS and EPS documents. These features are now integrated into Aspose.Page for .NET.
• Aspose.EPS & Aspose.XPS for Java. Allowed Java applications to work with both XPS and EPS documents. These features are now integrated into Aspose.Page for Java.

 

Products merged from 20th February, 2018

We released Xamarin based “wrappers” for Aspose.Words and Aspose.Email that are distinguishable by the “via Xamarin” name. We have decided to discontinue these as separate products and integrate them into individual Aspose for .NET products. The same cross platform support that was provided by these products is still there but is now integrated into our .NET product line.

Products split from 31st July, 2017

• The ability to create, load, edit or convert (X)HTML documents without requiring additional software or tools. These features were moved from Aspose.PDF for .NET and Java to its product family Aspose.HTML.

 

Products merged from 15th November, 2013

• Aspose.Metafiles for Java. Allowed Java applications to display, play and convert WMF and EMF files. These features are now integrated into Aspose.Imaging for Java.

 

Products merged from 21 August, 2013

• Aspose.Pdf.Kit for Java. The features of Aspose.Pdf.Kit for Java are incorporated into Aspose.Pdf for Java.

 

Products merged from 15th March, 2012

• Aspose.Network for .NET. A free utility with network programming features. For email programming, use Aspose.Email for .NET, a product that supersedes the previous Aspose.Network for .NET product.

 

Products merged from 1st October, 2011

• Aspose.Pdf.Kit for .NET. The features of Aspose.Pdf.Kit for .NET are incorporated into Aspose.Pdf for .NET.
