Upgrade, Discounts and Returns FAQ

1. What if I want to upgrade after 90 days have passed since purchase?

Upgrades are only eligible for orders up to 90 days old from purchase or renewal time. After this time you will need to renew your subscription and upgrade at the same time or purchase your new product at retail price.

2. Are there any discounts for government organizations?

Yes, government pricing which includes 10% discount is available to qualified government agencies. Read about Discounts for further information.

3. Are there any discounts for non-profit or academic institutions?

Yes, academic institutions and non-profit charities are eligible for a 10% discount. Read about Discounts for further information.

4. Are there any discounts for startups?

Yes, we offer discounts for start ups. Please read about Discounts for further information and requirements.

5. When I upgrade does the subscription expiry date of the license change?

Yes, the subscription expiry date resets so you will have a full subscription period from the date of upgrade.

6. Can I downgrade an order?

We do not allow downgrades from a higher license type e.g Developer OEM to Developer Small Business or reducing the number of seats in the order. You can renew only some products of an order or reduce the number of maintenance years in the subscription however review the Subscription FAQ for caveats about doing this.

7. Is there a discount for purchasing several products/licenses/subscription years in a single order?

There is a discount for purchasing multiple licenses which increases with each license purchased. To view the discount check out the online pricing wizard

There is no discount for purchasing several individual products, instead we suggest customers to purchase Aspose.Total which contains all products for a single platform for large discount.

There is no discount for purchasing a multiple year subscription.

8. I'm a returning customer, are there any discounts for me?

There are no discounts for customers with existing orders unless you have placed your order within the last 90 days and can upgrade.

9. I am currently using your competitor's product, is there any discount for me to change to Aspose?
